Un percorso emozionante “made in Dolomiti”.
Come iscriversi.

When talking about Passo Pordoi, great cycling inevitably comes to mind. The Tour de Pologne Challenge Trentino scheduled for Saturday, June 6th is the new, exciting event sponsored by the Lang Team, which will bring cycling fans to the heart of the Dolomites to pedal in the same tracks as the Tour de Pologne. In fact, the Challenge Trentino will provide the thrill of reliving the excitement of the grand kick off that took place in 2013 for the 70th Tour de Pologne UCI World Tour, when this pro race got started with two stages right here in the Dolomites. The Tour de Pologne Challenge Trentino is an event organized by the Lang Team, in association with Trentino Marketing (Marketing Company for the Territory of Trentino), which in 2015 will be an official partner for the Tour de Pologne for the sixth consecutive year.
A thrilling route “Made in the Dolomites”. The race sets off from Cavalese, at 8:30 a.m., and will arrive on the Pordoi for a total of 75 km through the valleys of Fiemme and Fassa, with climbs on Passo Pampeago and Passo Costalunga. This is a fascinating, gorgeous route that retraces the final portion of the 2nd stage in the 2013 Tour de Pologne, when the honour and merit of winning went to Christophe Riblon, and Rafal Majka captured the leader’s jersey. And it’s not just about the Tour de Pologne; Pampeago, Costalunga and Pordoi, in fact, are climbs that are regularly featured in the Giro d’Italia. The race will also serve as the occasion to inaugurate two commemorative plaques recalling the Tour de Pologne’s 2013 trip through the Dolomites. One tablet will be placed at Passo Pampeago and another one will be revealed at the summit arrival on the Pordoi. You don’t have to be a champion to participate. In fact, the race is open to everyone, amateurs and cycling tourists alike. However, considering the challenges of the route, minimum training and familiarity with a bike is a must, and riders should come prepared to expend considerable effort.
A generous race package! The first 500 registered riders will receive a fantastic sack containing the official Tour de Pologne cycling jersey by Quest and Vitarade supplements. Furthermore, the first 200 people to sign up will get a special photograph album with all the best pictures from the history of the Tour de Pologne. Plus, all participants will take home an official medal as a splendid souvenir of this great day of cycling on the Dolomites.
How to register. Registration fees are set at € 30.00. You can register online or by fax until June 4th, or at the site of the race the day before (from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.) and the morning of the race itself (from 7:00-8:00 a.m.).

An event guaranteed by the Tour de Pologne-UCI World Tour: “This event came about through the partnership that has tied the Tour de Pologne to Trentino for many years,” explains General Manager for the Tour de Pologne Czeslaw Lang. “The Tour de Pologne Challenge Trentino is not just a race; it also strives to be a celebration above everything else, an occasion for Poles who come to Trentino to get to know and appreciate these fabulous places from the back of a bike. We hope a lot of people will come out for it and this is why I’m here to remind you that participation is open to everybody – Italians, Poles and all nationalities, because bicycles know no boundaries; quite the contrary, they bring people together in unity and friendship.”
