All’indomani del caso di doping tecnologico del cicloamatore bresciano Andreoli scoperto con il motorino nella bicicletta, la Argon18 scende in campo con una presa di posizione ufficiale:
Argon18, azienda canadese, specializzata nella produzione di biciclette di alta gamma, nega il proprio coinvolgimento in ogni possibile azione di Doping Meccanico, anche riferito al caso di Bedizzole (BS) dello scorso sabato, 29 Luglio 2017.
Dopo un attenta analisi delle foto pubblicate da La Gazzetta dello Sport, Argon 18 conferma che il telaio in questione non è un telaio originale Argon 18, ed è stato graficato in contraffazione, usando i loghi Argon 18.

Canadian high-end bike manufacturer Argon 18 denies any involvement in the alleged case of mechanical doping in Bedizzole on Saturday.
Argon 18 responses to the mechanical doping with a clear statement that the company provides standard publiclyavailable frames and that any device found in this frame is the result of modification after it left the Argon 18 factory.
The company has begun investigation into the authenticity of the frame. “Argon 18 is a worldwide company with a proud history and we work hard every day to produce quality products that are sold worldwide. We are evaluating whether this frame is a counterfeit production and we will do everything to stop this . To safeguard the good name of our company we will take any necessary legal action against the athlete and anyone responsible for this very serious matter,” said Gervais Rioux, founder and president of Argon 18 Bikes. “We are a
