Also the 2016 of the Italian-Japanese team is supported by quality Japanese partners. A small record has been signed by IRC Tire, producer of tubulars, with 90 years experience since they start manufacturing bicycle and motor cycle tires. For the second year consecutive in Strade Bianche the team concluded the race, with more than 50 km of dirty roads, without punctures.
The Italian-Japanese team, supported by technical sponsors both Italian and Japanese is studying daily improvement to support in the best way as possibile #OrangeBlue riders. Also in 2016, IRC Tire, Japanese brand, tubulars manufacturer, specialized for two wheel tires manufacturere and now also in the Professional cycling world is technical partner of the NIPPO Vini Fantini.
The collaboration and all the feedback collected by IRC Tire by team mechanicals and riders of the team give the chance to the team to reach a small record in Strade Bianche, usually a race with many punctures. For the second year consecutive the NIPPO Vini Fantini team has been one of the few without a puncture. In this race the team used Tubeless of 27 of Diameter and Tubulars of 27, with a pressure of 7-7,5 the tubulars and 6-6,5 the Tubeless. The pressure has been defined with some test of the team and under the supervision of IRC that followed the team in many race in these two years of collaboration.
“We have also been lucky” declared Francesco Pelosi, the General Manager of the team, “but our partners have done the maximum to give us the best product, listening to mechanics and riders to build and project the future of the team, beginning from this little details. We are happy to have Japanese partners of such quality, always ready to listen and improve their products learning also from the European cycling.”
